Kate’s supportive message to others battling cancer

The Princess of Wales has revealed she has cancer in a video message.

Catherine is in the beginning stages of preventative chemotherapy for an unspecified cancer.

The Princess of Wales’s brave video statement included a supportive message to others battling cancer.

She concluded her remarks with a show of support: “At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer.

“For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

The type of cancer Catherine has was not revealed. It was discovered after her abdominal surgery in January. She has had to take time to recover from that major surgery before she could commence the chemotherapy.

She will not undertake royal duties until her doctors have cleared her.
