Queen Rania of Jordan has met with local entrepreneurs and representatives of Jordanian companies.

She met them during a visit to Jabal Al Weibdeh in Amman. She also visited the Ezwitti initiative in downtown Amman.

The meeting was held at the Bulbul Eatery, where the Queen joined a group of Jordanian entrepreneurs and representatives of Endeavour Jordan and Beyond Capital to discuss the challenges business owners are facing in the job market.

Tamer Al-Salah, Managing Director of Endeavour Jordan, explained how his organisation drives sustainable local economic growth and supports job creation by accelerating the growth of high-impact entrepreneurial projects in the country. His organisation is part of the Endeavor Network, which is a global training, mentoring and investment platform for future business founders. The Jordanian chapter of the Endeavor Network launched in 2009.

At Ezwitti, Queen Rania met its founder, Mahmoud Nabulsi and several volunteers. The Ezwitte initiative works on securing food aid for the community. Since its founding, Ezwitti has provided over 400,000 meals with the help of more than 3,700 volunteers.
