The Duchess of Edinburgh visited Leeds Children’s Hospital.
She paid a visit to Ward L52, which is a dedicated Paediatric Neurosciences Ward. The Duchess has been Patron of the hospital since 2013, and this was her first visit since the start of the pandemic.
Staff and patients at Leeds Children’s Hospital welcomed The Duchess of Edinburgh earlier this week, as she visited the Paediatric Neurosciences Ward.

The Duchess met with Play Specialists, who showed her the innovative virtual reality techniques that were being used. These often result in shorter hospital stays and a more positive experience.
