Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway are together in Kenya for a visit organized by the United Nations Development Programme. Crown Prince Haakon has been UNDP Goodwill Ambassador since 2003 and Crown Princess Victoria is Advocate Emerita for the Sustainable Development Goals.
During the visit, the two will make a number of field visits and talk to young entrepreneurs, groups that are committed to women’s rights and conservationists, among others. They are joined by the UN Deputy Secretary General and Director of the Office of External Relations and Advocacy for UNDP, Ulrika Modéer, the UNDP Kenya Resident Representative, Anthony Ngororano, Norway’s Minister of International Development, Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, the Minister of International Development of Sweden, Johan Forssell, the Secretary of State for International Development in Sweden, Diana Janse and trade delegations from Sweden, Norway and Kenya.
The visit will last until November 24.
