The Princess of Wales visited Sebby’s Corner in Barnet to kickstart a new initiative.

The new initiative from The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood will help to provide support to families with young children in the run-up to Christmas.

Catherine learned about the work that the baby banks do to get essential items to families. She also met a mother who has benefitted from the direct support of Sebby’s Corner.

In a conversation with representatives from Baby Banks, she discussed the increasing demand for their services. The representatives were from the newly formed Baby Bank Alliance which is led by Save the Children, Little Village, Purposeful Ventures and Baby Bank Network Bristol.

Since opening, Sebby’s Corner has supported over 5,000 families.
