The Grand Duke visited the “teamLab”, which is an immersive digital art exhibition, as well as the “Yoyogi” Olympic gymnasium, built in 1961 for the Tokyo 1964 Games. He also took part in the official “Luxembourg Day” reception.
In his speech, he spoke about Luxembourg’s close ties with Japan and thanked the Luxembourg team at Expo 2025, which was responsible for the construction of the Luxembourg pavilion, which he visited the next day. Luxembourg Day began with the raising of the Luxembourg and Japanese flags, and the playing of both national anthems.
