The Princess of Wales is set to issue her first royal warrants.
It is said she will “recognise British skills and industry” in her selections, in what will be a first for a Princess of Wales since 1910.
Sources close to the royal have said Catherine will issue royal warrants to some of her favoured companies.
The Times has said there is no timeline for when Catherine and the Prince of Wales will announce their first royal warrants. Sources told them that the Princess is “keen to recognise British skills and industry.”
Royal warrants are issued for up to five years and are not always renewed, like in the case of chocolate maker Cadbury, which lost its warrant granted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The last Princess of Wales to issue royal warrants was the future Queen Mary prior to her husband taking the throne as King George V.
