The Prince of Wales has visited Mentivity, an organisation dedicated to empowering young people in London.
The organisation supports up to 400 local young people each week.
Prince William visited Mentivity House, which serves as a community centre and youth hub. He met with Mentivity’s founders, Sayce Holmes-Lewis and Leon Wright. They shared how their own youth had shaped the organisation’s approach.
The Prince joined a group of schoolchildren for a game of Mario Kart and narrowly won the game. He still congratulated his opponent, “Brilliant! Neck and neck the whole way. Well done, well played.”

Prince William with senior mentor, Jess Ioannou, who later said, “I think he could see the passion and drive. He said that early intervention was one of the most important things to prevent issues down the line, such as homelessness or worse.”
His enthusiasm was awakened during the visit, and he was already brainstorming ideas, saying, “What can we do to build something bigger and have a bigger reach without diluting what you do? I’m already thinking about that. There are others like you, but very few. When I find them, I want to join all the dots.”
