Princess Estelle of Sweden is now a teenager. The Princess is celebrating her birthday privately with her family.

The Royal Court will share new images of the Princess today to mark the occasion.

Princess Estelle is the elder child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel and the oldest grandchild of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

She was born on 23 February 2012 and is second in line to the Swedish throne. Estelle has one younger brother, Prince Oscar (b. 2016).

Princess Estelle has been in the limelight her entire life with the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel keen to make sure she is prepared for her future role and used to the crowds and press. She speaks English and Swedish and is currently educated at the Campus Manilla School in Stockholm.

Estelle made history with her birth as the first female apparent from birth and the first female in the Swedish line of succession who could not be overtaken by a younger brother in the line of succession.

As she marks a landmark birthday, she has already shown she’s a queen in waiting with her poise and friendliness to the public and press.
