Liechtenstein is the only country in Europe that still excludes women from the line of succession, and the succession law is governed by the Princely House laws.

2. Prince Joseph Wenzel (b. 1995)
He is the eldest child of Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie. Not only is he second in line to the Liechtenstein throne, but he is also third in the British line of succession through the Jacobites (from his mother). The Jacobites believed the line of succession for Britain should have gone through male preference primogeniture after James II and VII was deposed in the late 1600s.
3. Prince Georg (b. 1999)
Georg is the second son and third child of Alois and Sophie.
4. Prince Nikolaus (b. 2000)
Nikolaus is the youngest child of the Hereditary Prince Couple.
5. Prince Maximilian (b. 1969)
Maximilian is the second son and child of Prince Hans Adam and Princess Marie.

7. Prince Moritz (b. 2003)
Moritz is the first child of the late Prince Constantin and Princess Marie and a grandchild of Prince Hans Adam.
8. Prince Benedikt (b. 2008)
Benedikt is the third child and younger son of Constantin and Marie.
After Prince Bendikt, the brothers of Prince Hans Adam and their male descendants follow in the line of succession.
There are currently 53 men in the line of succession, but we have only included the direct descendants of the current monarch for this article.
