Princess Charlene urges girls to dream without barriers

Princess Charlene of Monaco has urged girls to dream without barriers.

She released her message on International Women’s Day.

The full message reads, “Too often, we forget that women’s power does not need to be created; it needs to be unleashed. Equality is not a favour; it is a right that must be fully exercised, everywhere and for everyone. This March 8th, my wish is simple: that every young girl may dream without barriers and act without fear.”

International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8th every year. According to the official site of International Women’s Day, “is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements or rally for women’s equality.”
