Queen Sofia of Spain has attended a gala commemorating the 150th anniversary of the opening of Palais Garnier – the home of the Parisian opera.
The Queen was in Paris on 24 January to attend the gala that brought together the artists of the Paris National Opera.
She sat in the first row of the Grand Box to watch the dance programme that featured performances of “Ravel’s Bolero,” excerpts from Nuriyev’s ballets and musical pieces by the likes of Mozart and Wagner.
