The Princess of Asturias now has her own wax figure at a Madrid museum.

Princess Leonor’s new statue is in the Wax Museum of Madrid, and it took six months to complete.

The Wax Museum of Madrid said that the new statue is “a crucial moment in contemporary history.”

Princess Leonor’s statue was unveiled on 14 February and stands by the effigies of her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

Leonor’s grandparents, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía, also have wax statues in the museum.

The museum announces its new wax figure as soon as visitors click on their website. A photo of the new effigy appears with the message, “We have a new figure! Princess Leonor is now part of our collection. Come and meet her!”

The new wax figure is based on an official photo of the heir to the Spanish throne that was released by Casa Real and taken by Francisco Gómez on her 18th birthday on 31 October 2023.
