After Princess Märtha Louise married American shaman Durek Verrett, she said that their love was triumphant.
Speaking exclusively to Hello!, the Princess and Durek shared their thoughts after their wedding in Norway.
Märtha Louise said: “Our love has triumphed against all odds and will last forever.”
For his part, Durek remarked: “Love transcends all things because love is the original energy that we all are on this planet. It triumphs everything.”
The pair wed in a private ceremony with 350 guests at Hotel Union in Geiranger.
King Harald and Queen Sonja were on hand to watch their daughter marry her Californian fiance. Crown Prince Haakon and his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit were also in attendance with their children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus. The Princess’s aunt, Princess Astrid, also attended.
Of course, the Princess’s three daughters with her late ex-husband, Ari Behn were there to support their mother: Maud, Leah and Emma.
Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel and Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden were the foreign royals in the audience.
