Queen Letizia chairs rare diseases meeting

Queen Letizia of Spain has chaired a meeting of the Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER).

She was greeted by Alejandra Serrano, general director of Care for People with Disabilities of the Community of Madrid, and Sonsoles Escribano, president of the Board of Ladies of Honor and Merit. The participants of the meeting were Fide Mirón, vice president of FEDER; Santiago de la Riga, vice president and treasurer, members David Sánchez, Daniel de Vicente and Mónica Rodríguez; and Elena Mora.

The meeting resolved around the coming year, and included the upcoming Conferences on rare diseases held in Bilbao and Madrid. FEDER will also celebrate their 25th anniversary this year.
