Princess Royal represents King at President Hage Geingob’s funeral

The Princess Royal has represented King Charles III at the funeral of President Hage Geingob of Namibia.

President Hage Geingob died on 4 February 2024 at the age of 82 and was succeeded by Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba.

Princess Anne arrived in Windhoek to attend the memorial and burial of the late president. He was laid to rest in the Heroes’ Acre cemetery. After the service, she was seen arriving at the late president’s private residence, where she gave her condolences to his widow.
