Princess Isabella of Denmark graduated from high school on Tuesday, and the Royal Court released several images from the event.

King Frederik, Queen Mary, Crown Prince Christian, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine all gathered to mark Isabella’s graduation from Øregård Gymnasium.

Princess Josephine held a large pink bouquet of flowers for her sister while the Crown Prince held Isabella’s graduation cap and later placed it on her head.

The Princess also spoke to the press after taking her final exam. When questioned about her feelings on graduation, she said, “It feels amazing to be here after three years at Øregård Gymnasium. I’ve really enjoyed these years, and I’m very happy with how my exam went. I feel proud of myself. We will celebrate with a nice lunch, and then I’ll see some of my friends who are also graduating.”

After her graduation, the family gathered at the Chancellery at Fredensborg Palace for a private lunch; Queen Margrethe joined the family for the meal to celebrate the graduate. A photo of the Queen and her grandmother was shared on Instagram.

Besides the grandmother-granddaughter image, two other photos that were taken by Queen Mary were shared on social media.

After the summer, Princess Isabella will begin military training in the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse in August. As of 2025, women are also required to serve in the Danish military for 11 months.
