King Charles and Queen Camilla will travel to France next month to go on a State Visit.
The State Visit had originally been planned to happen in March, but it was cancelled due to ongoing pension reform protests.
The King and Queen will now visit Paris and Bordeaux from Wednesday, 20 September, until Friday, 22 September 2023. According to Buckingham Palace, the visit will “celebrate the shared history, culture and values of the United Kingdom and France.”
It will be King Charles’s 35th official visit to Francis, while it will be Queen Camilla’s 9th official visit.
