King Frederik X of Denmark published a book shortly after his proclamation entitled “Kongeord.” The book sold 25 times every minute on the first day of sales.
The book is about the thoughts and considerations the King made about the task and the responsibility he takes on. The book totals 112 pages and speaks about Frederik’s relationship with the royal line, Danish history and Christianity.
“I don’t really see it as an abrupt transition to become regent. It is clear that there will be even more tasks and also some slightly different ones than before, but I will continue to be the same person, and my approach will also be the same as before,’ he writes in the book.
The book costs DKK 250 and is published by Politikens Forlag.
