The Princess Royal was in Scotland to see how farmers are doing their bit to make the industry more sustainable.
Princess Anne was hosted by JRB Wilson & Sons, Cowbog Farm, which is one of the nine Monitor Farms in Scotland. She received a guided tour of the sheds, fields and the agritourism venture enterprise. The Monitor Farm programme was designed to help farms reach sustainability in several areas by optimising production with the help of experts.
To commemorate her visit, the Princess Royal unveiled a plaque, signed the guestbook and planted a gum tree.
