Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attend Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year Award

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco have attended the prestigious Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year Award.

The award was presented in the Hôtel Hermitage’s Salle Belle Epoque with over 200 people in attendance, including Minister of State Pierre Dartout, the Italian Government’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Maria Tripodi, and Ornella Barra, Chief Operating Officer – International Walgreens Boots Alliance.

Journalist Cinzia Sgambati-Colman created the award in 2012, and Princess Charlene holds the honorary presidency. The award is sponsored by the Walgreens Boots Alliance.

Three women received the award. The first was Zimi Sawacha from Italy, who researches the biomechanics of human movement. The second was Manila Di Giovanni from Monaco, who founded the technology start-up DWorld. The third was Leanne Roberts from Singapore, who co-founded She Loves Tech, a start-up competition.
