The King and Queen of Norway have hosted the Moldovan President for a state visit.

The President of Moldava, Maia Sandu, began her state visit to Norway on Monday with a formal ceremony in the palace square. It is the first time that a Moldovan president has visited Norway.

Crown Prince Haakon was on hand to help with the arrival, as was Crown Princess Mette-Marit. After the welcome, official photographs were taken in the Bird Room, followed by a gift exchange in the Mirror Hall.
