The Swedish people were joined by royals and European dignitaries to celebrate King Carl Gustaf’s 80th birthday, and we take a look at the event in photos.
The celebrations included a Te Deum, the traditional military parade at the palace with flowers from children, a flyover, public congratulations, lunch at city hall and a gala dinner.
