King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has visited Brazil with his wife Queen Silvia and his daughter Princess Madeleine. Brazil is also the birthplace of Queen Silvia.
They visited Brazil in the context of the World Childhood Foundation. This foundation was founded in 1999 by Queen Silvia and now has branches in several countries.
In Bahia they visited the Complexo de Escuta Protegida, which was established with the help of the foundation. They pray for help for children who have been abused. In Sao Paulo the Na Mão Certa project was visited. Silvia and Madeleine also attended a consultation with Childhood Brazil.
Princess Madeleine later wrote on her Instagram account how proud she was of the organization.
