The Spanish Royal Family has welcomed the Spanish Men’s Football Team after their Euro Championship victory over England.

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia celebrated the players at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.

The King held the players in an audience alongside the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, María del Pilar Alegría Continente and the President of the Higher Sports Council, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes.

Afterwards, a photo session was held in front of the media with the King being given a football jersey with the number four. The name on the back was Reyes de Europa (or Kings of Europe in English).

Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia were in matching number 10 jerseys. Casa Real shared a throwback image of the sisters from 12 years ago with the European Championship Trophy after Spain’s victory in 2012 alongside a snap from Monday’s meeting.
