Royal wedding for Greece

The Greek Royal Family is set to have a royal wedding as Prince Nikolaos is engaged.

Prince Nikolaos is engaged to family friend Chrysí Vardinogiannis. The Greek Royal Family’s communications spokesman confirmed the news.

Communications manager Ivi Macris told Danish BilledBladet that the wedding would take place in Athens, and their families would be in attendance.

Hello Greece has reported that the pair will wed privately on 7 February, but the Royal Family has not confirmed the date.

Vardinogiannis is the daughter of Greek shipowner Giorgos Vardinogiannis and Agapi Politi. She divorced her husband in 2023. 

Prince Nikolaos, the son of the late King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie, was married to Tatiana Blatnik from 2010 to 2024.

Nikolaos’s younger sister, Princess Theodora, married in Athens last year.
