Queen Mary of Denmark has celebrated her beloved dogs on International Dog Day.

Taking to the Royal House’s Instagram, Queen Mary shared several images of her family’s pups.

The Queen wrote: “Happy International Dog Day to all dog owners and friends 🐾

“At our home, Grace and Coco have a very special meaning to our whole family. Last week I met Coco’s father Eagle during our visit to Assens. It was a lovely surprise and wonderful to feel how much father and daughter resemble each other.

“In the second picture, Grace is in the front and a curious Coco is seen in the back. It can be difficult for someone to tell the difference,” she continued.

The King and Queen have two Border Collies: Grace and Coco. Queen Mary recently met Coco’s father while on Their Majesties summer tour.
