Prince Nikolaos of Greece has married Chrysí Vardinogianni in a private ceremony in Athens.

The Prince, who now goes by Nikolaos de Grèce, married Chrysí on 7 February in a Greek Orthodox wedding at the Holy Church of St. Nicholas Rangavas in Athens.

The pair’s close family and friends were in attendance and His Eminence, Metropolitan of Kissamos & Selinos, Amphilochios officiated the ceremony.

Notable guests at the wedding included the groom’s mother, Queen Anne-Marie, and his siblings, Crown Prince Pavlos, Princess Alexia, and Princess Theodora, and their spouses and children. Nikoloas’s brother, Phillipos, was not in attendance with his wife, Princess Nina.

Princess Alexia and Princess Theodora served as bridesmaids while Crown Prince Pavlos and Prince Konstantinos-Alexios (Nikolaos’s nephew) served as best men.

Royals from the Danish and Spanish royal families also attended, as they are close family members of the Greek royals. Queen Anne-Marie’s sister, Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended with her children. The late King Constantine’s sisters, Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Irene of Greece attended, as did Sofia’s daughter, Infanta Cristina of Spain.

The new Princess Chrysi’s children, George and Karen, were also in attendance.

Prince Nikolaos and Princess Chrysi married just months after the Prince’s divorce from Tatiana Blatnik (formerly Princess Tatiana) was finalised.
