Queen Letizia of Spain was movingly reunited with her eldest daughter, the Princess of Asturias, as her training ship docked in Panama for a stopover.

The Princess of Asturias is currently on the crew of the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano of the Spanish Navy for officer training. Queen Letizia was waiting for her as she arrived in Panama. The moving reunion can be seen in images released by Casa Real.

Afterwards, the Princess of Asturias and others in training were allowed to visit Panama Viejo, where they visited the Plaza de Armas of Panama City and the museum of Panama. She was joined by her mother at a reception on board the training ship.
