King Harald diagnosed with respiratory infection

King Harald V of Norway has been diagnosed with a respiratory infection.

The statement from the Royal House reads, “His Majesty the King is on sick leave until Friday, 2 February, due to a respiratory infection. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Regent carries out the King’s programme.”

King Harald is 86 years old and has been King of Norway since 1991.
