The Princely Family of Liechtenstein is set for a royal wedding in 2025.
Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie have announced the engagement of their daughter, Princess Marie Caroline, to Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer.
The pair will wed in the late summer of 2025. More information will be released in due course.
Princess Marie Caroline is the second child and only daughter of the Hereditary Prince Couple. She was born in Switzerland on 17 October 1996. As women are barred from the throne in Liechtenstein, the Princess is not in the line of succession.
She was educated in Liechtenstein, Switzerland and England. The Princess later studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris and New York before graduating in 2020. She now lives in London and works in the fashion industry.
Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer was born in Caracus, Venezuela, on 28 October 1990 to Francisco and Sofia Maduro Vollmer. He was educated in Venezuela and England before earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of St Andrew’s and a post-graduate degree from Queen’s College, University of Cambridge.
Leopoldo works in investment banking in London, after previously working in New York and Paris.
