King Felipe of Spain visited the Joint Cyber ​​Command.

The Joint Cyber ​​Command is responsible for operations in cyberspace of interest to the National Defence.

King Felipe visited the Retamares Base. He was accompanied by the admiral general, Chief of the Defence Staff (JEMAD), Teodoro Esteban López Calderón; the lieutenant general, Commander of the Operations Command (CMOPS), José Antonio Agüero Martínez; and the vice admiral, Commander of the Joint Cyber ​​Command (CMCCE), Javier Roca Rivero.

In the “Gómez López de Medina” General Hall, Vice Admiral Javier Roca Rivero, Commander of the Joint Cyber ​​Command (CMCCE), showed a simulation of a cyberattack on critical infrastructure and a presentation on the dangers of Artificial Intelligence.

The Joint Cyber ​​Command leads the Cyber ​​Incident Response Centre (ESPDEF-CERT), which is part of international cybersecurity networks.
