Infanta Sofía of Spain has said goodbye to her parents as she heads towards her new school in Wales.
The infanta is set to attend UWC Atlantic in Wales. Photos released by the Spanish royal household show the infanta with her parents as her bags are loaded into the car. She also said goodbye to the family dog.
Her eldest sister, Leonor, graduated from the school last year and has just begun three years of military training. Princess Alexia of the Netherlands also attended the school in Wales and graduated at the same time as the Princess of Asturias. Princess Ariane of the Netherlands also chose to go to the school, although she opted for the branch in Italy.
Infanta Sofía is the youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia, and she is second in the line of succession behind her sister.
