Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden have visited New Zealand.
After a visit to Australia, the royal couple landed in New Zealand on Thursday, where they received a Maori welcome. They met with the Governor General and spoke with the Speaker of Parliament and other government representatives. They also visited the Zealandia Ecosanctuary and the Te Papa National Museum.
On Saturday, they concluded their visit in Hamilton by visiting a farm that used Swedish equipment to milk its cows. They also met with Swedes who live in Hamilton and visited the Botanical Gardens.
They will now return home for an anxious few days as Crown Princess Victoria’s father will undergo heart surgery on Monday.
