Twelve newly commissioned pieces of music will be performed at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey.

The music was personally commissioned by the King and will blend tradition, heritage and ceremony with new musical voices. The music will be overseen by Andrew Nethsingha, Organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey. The Coronation Orchestra will be conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano, Music Director for the Royal Opera House.

Greek Orthodox music will also feature in the service as a tribute to the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
