Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel, are in Australia.
They are attending events related to defence, trade and sustainability. The visit aims to strengthen the ties between Australia and Sweden.
The couple arrived today and were welcomed with an official ceremony at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. After that, they will visit the Namadgi National Park and learn more about the 2020 bushfires.
On Tuesday, they will travel to Sydney, where they will attend a reception. The following day, they will tour the Sydney Opera House and visit the Royal Botanic Gardens and St Vincent’s Hospital. They will also meet with the Australian Women’s football team and their Swedish coach.
After a busy day, the couple will depart for New Zealand.
