Princess Marie and Prince Joachim of Denmark attended the opening of the Christmas market at the Danish Church in Paris.
Marie and Joachim opened the Christmas market that should last for three days. The proceeds from the church benefit the Danish church. The Danish church was consecrated in 1955 with the cooperation of Queen Ingrid and Frederik IX, after which the Frederikskirken is also named. It is a meeting point for Danes living in Paris and the surrounding area.
Prince Joachim and Princess Marie currently live in Paris with their two children.
