The Danish royals have announced their plans for this Christmas.
Queen Margrethe II of Denmark will spend Christmas at Marselisborg Palace. She will take up residence there on 20 December. She will spend Christmas Eve with Crown Prince Frederik and his family, as well as Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and their two children.
Prince Joachim’s younger son from his first marriage, Count Felix, will spend Christmas Day with them. Prince Joachim’s elder son, Count Nikolai, will be abroad for the holidays.
