Princess Charlene of Monaco was in Corsica to raise children’s awareness of water safety.

The Princess, who is a former professional swimmer, has been raising awareness of water safety with her Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation for over a decade.

During her visit, she attended training sessions given by two of the Foundation’s ambassadors, Pierre Frolla, who is a four-time world record holder in freediving, and Monegasque gymnast Kevin Crovetto.

Almost 80 children took part in the sessions, where they learned about water safety and first aid. Some were quite excited to see her and managed to sneak in a hug. Some even had their caps signed by the Princess.
