As part of the Princess of Wales’s Early Childhood Shaping Us campaign, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have drawn portraits of their mother.
The drawings of the three children and one done by the Princess of Wales were released by Kensington Palace as a way of encouraging families to get creative together.
Kensington Palace said about drawing with children: “Drawing portraits with children can provide a moment of connection as you spend time looking at and focusing on one another, as well as being creative and – most importantly – having lots of fun together!”

Kensington Palace did not specifically identify which drawing was done by which child, but Prince George has widely gotten credit for the black and white drawing of his mum sitting in a chair. Many have praised his artistic skills and that of his mum, Catherine.

Catherine’s portrait is a stencil of young Prince Louis with his eyes closed.
The Princess of Wales and her children sat down together for an art session as part of her new initiative that is connected to the launch of The Bobeam Tree Trail at the National Portrait Gallery earlier this month.
Catherine launched the Centre for Early Childhood as part of the Royal Foundation in June 2021.
