Thomas Kingston’s private funeral service has taken place at the Chapel Royal of St. James’ Palace.

The funeral service began as the coffin was transferred from the chapel at Kensington Palace.

The Prince of Wales joined Thomas’s widow, Lady Gabriella Kingston, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of Kent, and Princess Alexandra. The service, led by the Rev Canon Paul Wright, Sub-Dean of the Chapels Royal, was attended by around 140 people. The former Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, gave a sermon.

After the service, there was a private cremation and details of Thomas’s final resting place have not been shared. The funeral service was followed by a reception at St James’s Palace.

Thomas Kingston was found dead on 25 February at the age of 45.
