Sarah, Duchess of York has sent a touching message to King Charles after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah, who was also recently diagnosed with cancer, wrote on social media to say that the King is “very dear” to her.

On Instagram, she wrote: “His Majesty is very dear to me and I think I speak for everyone when I say he is in my thoughts and prayers.”

According to the Daily Mail, the King and his former sister-in-law have been bonding over their cancer diagnoses.

A source said: “The King and Sarah are incredibly fond of one another and now they have bonded over their respective cancer diagnosis with an exchange of letters. Cancer is a wicked disease that affects so many individuals and their families and it’s clear that extra support from loved ones and the extended cancer community can help immeasurably.”

Sarah, Duchess of York has skin cancer, but the type of cancer the King is battling has not been revealed.
