The Princess of Wales has travelled to Norfolk with her family after her successful abdominal surgery.

She is now expected to spend time at the family’s Amner Hall home on the Sandringham Estate.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are currently on their half-term break, so the family was able to make the trip from Windsor to Norfolk, where King Charles is also staying.

A source told the Daily Mail about Catherine’s recovery, “Catherine is recovering well. She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.”

Kensington Palace announced in January that the Princess had undergone a planned abdominal surgery at the London Clinic. The palace said that it would be unlikely that she would return to public duties until after Easter.

Her surgery was said to not be related to cancer.
