The Prince was pictured driving a tank in the freezing cold in the military’s training area and an Archer mobile artillery system. He also met French troops at the military training grounds at Tapa Camp.

He reportedly spoke to the soldiers about their feelings about being so close to Russia and if it felt more real than other training they had undergone. He was also given a tour of the base and saw other military vehicles being used.

The British troops in Estonia are part of the biggest operational deployment overseas at the moment.

Prince William was in Estonia for two days to meet around 900 troops, some of whom were part of the Mercian regiment, of which William is the colonel-in-chief.
