King Charles III visited Southport to meet with those affected by the knife attack last month.
The King arrived to a cheering crowd and he stopped to read some of the tributes to the victims that had been left among the flowers. Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, died as a result of the attack.
King Charles was then greeted by Dr Ruth Hussey, the vice lord lieutenant of Merseyside, and June Burns, the mayor of Sefton. They went inside the town hall to meet with children who had survived the attack and their families.
After the meeting at the town hall, he met with local politicians at the community fire station and representatives from Merseyside’s police, ambulance and fire and rescue services.
