The Duchess of Sussex has revealed her family’s Thanksgiving and Christmas plans.
In an exclusive interview with Kristin Contino of Marie Claire magazine, the Duchess discussed how she, Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet would spend the holidays.
Meghan spoke to Contino about her children and planned celebrations at a dinner in California with Mina’s List and the Archewell Foundation.
Meghan said they will have a “low-key” Thanksgiving with her mom, Doria, on hand.
“I was thinking about, in the past few years of having Thanksgiving here, like many of us, I think you always make sure there’s room at the table for your friends who don’t have family, which is really key,” she said.
They celebrate Thanksgiving like any normal American family – with a warm meal, games and spending time with loved ones.
Regarding Christmas next month, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will leave out carrots for Santa’s reindeer and the Duchess said that “every single holiday is a new adventure.”
And Meghan admitted that she can’t wait to watch the holidays through the eyes of her children.
The Duchess of Sussex spent the evening with like-minded individuals working to empower women, especially those from Afghanistan, as they settle in the United States.
