Prince Mateen of Brunei reveals nickname of wife

Brunei’s Prince Mateen has revealed his wife, Princess Anisha’s nickname.

Taking to Instagram to wish her a happy 30th birthday, the Prince revealed her nickname.

He posted two photos of Anisha with the caption: “Happy birthday Nishi,” with a red heart emoji.

The couple married earlier this year and have known each other since childhood.

Princess Anisha was born in London to a Croatian father and a Bruneian Malay mother on 6 November 1994.

Since her marriage in January 2024 to Prince Mateen (the fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah), she has held the title of Princess of Brunei.
