Queen Rania of Jordan visited the Jordan River Foundation’s Queen Rania Al Abdullah Community Empowerment Center (QRCEC) in Aqaba and met with several beneficiaries and members of the local communities.

Ahmad Ghneimat, the director of QRCEC, briefed the Queen on their child safety and community empowerment activities and the services it offers to the local community. Queen Rania learned about “Beit Sgheer”, an interactive project which raises awareness about forms of child abuse. She also toured the technology room for children and youth.
She then met Suhaib Al Ammouri, a local youth who operates a packaging solutions business, which he began at home.
