King Abdullah II, accompanied by his son, Prince Hashem, and daughter, Princess Salma, met with CEOs of companies in China and visited a robotics company.
The King and his children visited AgiBot, one of China’s leading robotics companies, in Shanghai. They received a briefing
from the co-president and Chief Operating Officer Jiang Qingsong on the applications of the robots. King Abdullah highlighted the importance of cooperation between universities and institutions in Jordan and AgiBot. The royal party toured an exhibition of AgiBot’s most notable products.

Afterwards, the royal party met with th CEO’s of leading Chinese companies in a meeting organised in cooperation with the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The King emphasised his country’s commitment to strengthening operations with China.

The attendees represented companies from the fields of pharmaceutical, food, engineering, agricultural, and aviation sectors.
Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, Jordan’s Ambassador to China Hussam Husseini, and China’s Ambassador to Jordan Guo Wei had also joined the royal party.
