Princess Marie of Denmark has marked World Autism Day.

As patron of the National Association for Autism (Landsforeningen Autisme), Princess Marie said, “All human beings have value. All people can make a contribution, regardless of their diversity, and society needs that diversity. Like all other people, autistic people are also different. Autistic people have different strengths and different needs. But everyone needs to be part of a community. It’s our collective job to make sure we all feel seen and met. Together we can do so much more than separately. Together we are the strongest. ”

Princess Marie has been their patron since 2011.
